Ms. Safaa El-Zeftawy has started as an Arabic and Islamic Studies Teacher for native and non-native speakers and has worked as a tutor for students with special needs and learning difficulties in her early years of work. Ms. Safaa does have experience in Coordinating, Curriculum Developing and as a Pedagogy Coach, Workshop Leader, and Head of Arabic and Islamic Department. She has a wide & multidisciplinary experience in Education from the kindergarten level up to university level in teaching, putting plans, leading teachers, observing and training teachers, and work in teams within many kinds of school systems such as American, UK & IB (Arabic B teacher). She has a wide experience in many countries such as Egypt, Oman, and has spent the last 12 years working and living with her family in the UAE. She has a Bachelor degree in Literature and Education (Arabic, and Islamic Studies), Three Post Graduate Educational Diplomas in (Educational Psychology, Special Education & Methods of teaching and Curricula) from Egypt, plus a Scholarship to Exeter University at the UK to study an intensive program about Special Education. She has a Master's Degree (M.A) from Zayed University, 2014, and enrolled now on Ph.D. in Education: (Teaching and Learning) at IIUM, Malaysia. Recently, Ms. Safaa was working on Self-Evaluation for Arabic Language & Islamic Studies teachers according to MOE framework for subject and ADEK and KHDA Inspection Criteria. Those Criteria gave her a clear vision about the level that a student should be able to reach in each criterion for each stage. By using assessments for learning concepts, she is able to evaluate a students level and to determine their learning gaps, therefore build a teaching program to fill these gaps and to support them to reach their full potential of learning and to meet criteria for their stage and beyond if they can. She applies all modern methods in her teaching style; such as learning-based-projects, active learning, digital storytelling, drama, neuroscience language coaching results, and practices, etc. She is internationally certified as a Trainer, Educational Trainer, School Educational Self-Assessor and Neuro-Language Coach from the UK, USA, and the UAE. Ms. El-Zeftawys perspective in teaching languages is a journey in cultures seas with a ship of peace and tolerance that picture a better future. Also, she is a researcher and writer and had many prizes in writing and leading drama and theatre competitions between schools.
