Teachers, by definition, share their own knowledge so as to strengthen their students’. But I have long known that learning is more than doing; it’s understanding. It’s a basic truth I witnessed daily as an ESL teacher. It is also the truth at the heart of NeuroLanguage Coaching.
NeuroLanguage Coaching reflects my own education philosophy. In traditional teaching, the rush to complete the set curriculum is generally seen as the teacher’s job done, but I have a more student-centric view, where understanding the mind of the learner shapes the method used which, in turn, enhances the students’ likelihood of mastering the language. If every mind is unique, then every learning approach must be too. Working with learners means the path to success can be made that little bit easier.
