About me
I am a TEFL-qualified English language professional with over five years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language. Since relocating to Spain in October 2020, I have worked extensively within English academies, and as an online language coach for native Spanish speakers. My work has focused particularly on pronunciation development, business communication skills and conversational practice.
Throughout my teaching career, I have observed that many adult learners experience challenges related to confidence, motivation, and frustration when acquiring a second language. These observations led me to pursue training in neurolanguage coaching, which applies principles from neuroscience to create a more effective and learner-centred approach to language acquisition. This methodology supports learners in reducing anxiety, improving confidence, and achieving more rapid progress.
More recently, I have established Conversations in English, a free online learning community designed to provide Spanish-speaking learners with a supportive environment in which to practise and develop their English communication skills.
