I bring extensive and varied experience as a language educator, having worked in both state and private schools in England, teaching children and teenagers from early years through to 18 years old, before continuing my work in international schools in Switzerland.
Since launching my own language education business in 2008, I have supported learners aged 8 to 80, working with expats and local clients in one-to-one settings and small groups, both online and face-to-face.
My work spans corporate environments with clear professional objectives, school-age learners seeking academic support, and adults who simply want to feel more confident, connected and integrated in their Swiss life.

✨ About me – beyond languages
My work is deeply influenced by my life outside the classroom and coaching sessions. For many years, I have been actively involved in my local community: I spent nine years in a parents’ association, four of those as chair of the school council, and I have been serving on my village’s legislative board for the past nine years. These roles have strengthened my belief in dialogue, collaboration and the power of clear, respectful communication—across perspectives, generations and cultures.
I am a keen reader and lifelong language learner myself, with a strong interest in current affairs, culture, history and lifestyle topics. These interests naturally find their way into my work, as I believe that languages come alive when they are connected to real ideas, meaningful conversations and the world around us.
Personal development and continuous professional growth are also central to my approach. I regularly invest in further training to refine my practice and better support my clients. Most recently, I completed advanced training in phonetics remediation in French, allowing me to help learners speak more clearly, confidently and comfortably.
This blend of community engagement, intellectual curiosity and ongoing professional development shapes the bespoke programmes I create—programmes that are grounded, relevant and designed to reconnect learners with the pleasure and purpose of learning a language.
