About me
Language learning background
My interest in foreign languages started as a teenager: I wanted to learn English to understand songs' lyrics and surf the web ?. I took private lessons and learned a good deal on my own, by using the language. In my early 20s, I decided to pick up German as an autodidact. Years later, I would learn Italian and Portuguese, combining the languages with skills that seemed fun to me, such as learning chess, cooking, drawing, and singing (you can find more about these language + skills projects here). In 2022, I started (re)learning Thai, using a variety of online courses and learning resources.

Between 2012 and 2018 I gave one-on-one piano lessons, both live and online, in Argentina. In 2017, I started sharing video tutorials, online courses and guides on YouTube and altopianista.com.
