Welcome
When we work together, our coaching alliance will be adapted to your needs, wishes and aims. The underlying philosophy that I bring to each client is the Socratic “know thyself” and “reveal information that you already know”. The results of our coaching sessions will be transformational, bringing metacognition and awareness.
We can delve into how to optimise and maximise brain performance and also explore underlying reasons for certain patterns of behaviours or communication. From a holistic perspective, we can look at all elements of life, including personal goals, challenges, societal place, and work/life balance.
Throughout the years 2004- 2012 I entered the world of professional coaching by training as a brain-based coach through David Rock´s coaching programmes, culminating in an ICF ACC credentialed coach, in 2018 achieving the ICF PCC level of credentialed coach and in 2025 the ICF MCC.
From 2012 up to the present day I have been training teachers worldwide to integrate professional coaching into their teaching practices, based on the ICF core competencies and skills. In addition, I have been life and business coaching a select number of executives and corporate clients through these years.
In 2023 I stepped up to become a registered ICF Coach Mentor and in spring 2024 I received the certification as Coach Supervisor. I also offer, as an officially ICF registered Mentor Coach, Coach Mentoring as required by the ICF for people wishing to become an ICF credentialed coach or wishing to renew their ACC or PCC coaching credential. And as a certified Coach Supervisor recognised by the EMCC and ICF – I offer Coach Supervision sessions for Professional Coaches wishing to have an external non judgemental coaching session to supervise coaching skills, competences, ethics, contracting or questions arising from their coaching sessions with their clients. As a coach supervisor, we can troubleshoot or gently observe how to improve and hone your professional coaching skills.

I’m Rachel Paling and I started teaching English as a Foreign Language to adults over 40 years ago and after obtaining a BA Honours in Law and Spanish (with distinction in spoken Spanish) at the University of Sheffield (UK), I went on to do a Masters in Human Rights and Democratization (EMA) at the University of Padua, Italy and Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany.
I continued my studies and qualified as a UK Lawyer in 2003, but instead of pursuing a career as a lawyer, I decided to combine my teaching experience, my specialisation in business English and my legal knowledge to coach top executives across Europe. My professional development continued and I became an ICF PCC Life Coach.
The creation of Neurolanguage Coaching® emerged through my own experience of teaching languages over the past 35 years. This combined with my own experience of learning languages, namely French, Spanish, Italian, German, and some Catalan, with basics of Arabic and Russian and a hunger to learn more, such as Chinese.
In 2019, Efficient Language Coaching and Neurolanguage Coaching® won the Re-Imagine Education Bronze award in the Science of Learning category. In March 2020, I completed my Masters in Applied Neuroscience and continue to study Neuroscience to develop and enhance my knowledge. In the same year, Brainz Magazine included me in their top 500 Companies, Entrepreneurs, Influential Leaders and Business Owners who are recognized for their entrepreneurial success, achievements or dedication to helping others
Also in 2020, I developed the NeuroHeart Educational Coach Training which certifies and ICF accredits teachers and educators of all disciplines and through the NeuroHeart Education Foundation wishes to bring this new way of teaching into educational establishments worldwide.
The following year, I completed my Masters in Neuropsychology in the field of Education and was delighted to be awarded the Crea Global Award by Brainz Magazine.

In addition, my own personal development as a life coach over 12 years and my burning interest in what we are now discovering through modern neuroscience about the brain – and how the brain functions, reacts and learns – have all contributed to the creation of this concept and method.
Using this method, I have trained over 1200 language teachers worldwide, certifying them as Neurolanguage Coaches – certified by taking our training courses which are some of the only language coaching certification courses in the world accredited by International Coach Federation USA.
I now deliver our courses to language teachers and teachers of all disciplines with a vision to transform and enhance the learning process.
The most fascinating driver for me has been seeing and experiencing better learning results from my own clients. Now, also the testimonials of many of the language teachers who have certified with me and become Neurolanguage coaches, are, in turn, witnessing better results from their clients.
