About me
I'm from Brazil. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Licentiate) qualification in Portuguese and English and I'm also a CELTA certified teacher. I've been teaching Portuguese and English for more than 20 years. I worked for language schools teaching groups and individuals, regular English lessons and English for specific purposes. In 2014 I started my own business working face-to-face and over Skype, Whatsapp and Google Meet in one-to-one lessons. It has been a big challenge but very fulfilling. Nowadays most of my students are online what provides great flexibility for me and them. In order to deliver tailor-made lessons, I've developed all sorts of materials and a methodology based on many years of experience.

Patricia is an excellent Portuguese instructor! I have come a long way in 1 year of lessons. While having a structured curriculum, I value the time that Patricia spends forcing me to converse with her in Portuguese. In doing that ,we naturally build on and practice what she has already taught me, and we continuously expand aspects of grammar that I have not yet explored.
