I’m a Prospective Neurolanguage Coach so I have completed the Language Coaching Certification course but I am in the process of passing my assessment and becoming a certified Neurolanguage Coach.
About me
Of Swedish origin and nationality, brought up on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria from an early age and having followed a mainly British education, my life has always had a lot to do with languages and their innate culture.After a brief time in Tourism and Hospitality, I started my professional career in Teacher Training, Coordinating the online Interuniversity Post graduate Programmes including the MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language offered by FUNIBER (central office in Barcelona) in collaboration with Spanish and Latin American universities.After several years teaching and coordinating the MA in TEFL I also taught on the MA in Spanish as a Foreign Language until 2004. I then changed to Secondary and Sixth form classroom teaching at a Private International School on Gran Canaria where I taught English language and Literature until 2007 when I opened my language school, Inspirations Motivation and Language Learning Centre, in order to better cater for language learning needs and individual differences. During the 10 years I successfully managed Inspirations I also had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in Special Needs, in particular ADHD and dyslexia, and in preparing students for International language exams such as Cambridge ESOL, at all levels.New opportunities came knocking on my door leading to my current position, coordinating the International Baccalaureate at Colegio Arenas Sur, while also continuing to help my students thrive in their learning through highly effective learning approaches such as Neurolanguage coaching.
