I’m a Prospective Neurolanguage Coach so I have completed the Language Coaching Certification course but I am in the process of passing my assessment and becoming a certified Neurolanguage Coach.
About me
I've always lived and worked in an environment where language and culture have been in the forefront. A French mother, an American father; born and raised in small towns in Connecticut, a move to Paris, France for a gap year that turned into my permanent home after I met my French husband who speaks Catalan with his family. A real melting pot. It was an obvious choice for me to study languages, continue exploring how we communicate and learn. I began as a freelance translator working in fields ranging from CD booklets to finance; then turned towards early childhood education. I spent eight wonderful years working in an alternative pre-school where we were able to accompany children on their learning journey with respect for their needs, rhythm and interests. I learned from them to adapt, to listen, to observe and share their great pleasure in learning and growing. When it was time to move on and work with adults, I carried over this notion that learning should be fun and teaching must be done with compassion and attention to each individual. I've been working with adults for over 15 years now, evolving from teaching, to training to coaching, constantly striving to stay in tune with my learners' needs and to continuously learn and share experience and practices with fellow language trainers and coaches around the world. As manager of an independent language school, I carry this same approach with my team to collaborate and grow together.
