I’m a Prospective Neurolanguage Coach so I have completed the Language Coaching Certification course but I am in the process of passing my assessment and becoming a certified Neurolanguage Coach.
About me
I am a business owner, EFL teacher and a certified Neurolanguage Coach based in Spain. I studied journalism and international studies in the USA, and worked in a documentation and training company in Atlanta, GA. which gave me my first taste for teaching and training. I finally moved to sunny Andalucia in 2001, after meeting a very convincing Spaniard.
Having lived in South America, North America and Europe in my younger years, I found this move both exciting and challenging. I soon realized that even though I was lucky enough to have been raised bilingual (English and Spanish), the cultural shock of work life in Spain was not far behind. In the midst of all the changes, and after some more training, I became a teacher in my own academy! Fast forward 19 years and I still love my job. Teaching English as a foreing language is where I feel safe, fulfilled and, challenged!
Recently, I realized that I wanted to give more to my students. Although there is a lot of information out there about language teaching, I found that the program championed by ELC is by far the only one that revolutionizes the concepts of how we learn languages, what our motivations are and how to become a better teacher through coaching. I received my certification in January 2022 and have been working with the techniques and the insight of a Neurolanguage Coach since, making my work even more enjoyable.
