Im Stacey, a native English speaker, born and raised in Western Canada. ?I love laughter, yoga, searching for rainbows and helping people to overcome their difficulties to enjoy speaking English!
When I immigrated to France over 20 years ago, I was terrified to speak French and stayed blocked for months. I was incredibly shy and had to overcome my fear to communicate in French. Now, I am fluent in French and Im not shy anymore ?I still have an accent that intrigues many people! I am a Neurolanguage coach, certified by a company called Efficient Language Coaching, accredited by the ICF (the largest International Coaching Federation in the world).
So what exactly is neurolanguage coaching?
? As a Neurolanguage coach, I adjust my approach and offer to YOUR specific motivation and needs. Our conversations are relaxed and 'brain-friendly' to help you to create a positive relationship with the language, boost your motivation and make the process more efficient and enjoyable.
Before getting into coaching, I worked as an environmental educator, then an early childhood educator. These experiences have brought me so much for this job as a coach, and in particular reinforced my empathy, my openness but also my ability to listen.
What motivated me to evolve professionally towards something new was my frustration at not finding myself in a relational quality by accompanying groups. So I decided to go for individualized support. I have been working with people 'one on one' in learning English for almost four years now and I love it!
It is in partly thanks to my experience as an adult second language learner that I drew my current approach. My mission is about helping people to communicate in English from their own motivations and targeted to their specific needs.
It is quite common to feel more or less 'stuck' when learning a new language for many reasons.What brings me joy and satisfaction is helping other people to gain self-confidence, to find meaning, motivation and pleasure in a co-creative and human process. That's where you become the superstar of your progress and me, your fan club member ! ?
