About me
I’ve been living and working in France since 2008, helping non-native professionals communicate more effectively in international environments.
With my clients, we work on presentation skills, public speaking, pronunciation, and speaking without preparation, for example in meetings.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing people grow in confidence and realise that they already have the skills they need to engage, persuade, and make an impact with their international colleagues, partners, and clients.
Because I speak almost fluent French and run a business in France, I understand first-hand what it means to work and communicate in a foreign language at a high level. I also understand the specific challenges French speakers face when using English professionally.
My path into this work began a long way from France. I grew up on a farm in England and always dreamed of travelling and living abroad. After completing a Master’s degree in Linguistics in London, I left the UK to work for the British Council in Japan and Singapore. Along the way I met my Swiss-Turkish husband, and eventually we settled in France so we could be closer to our families.
Today, I combine my background in linguistics, my international experience, and over two decades of working with professionals to help people communicate clearly and confidently across cultures. If you would like to be sure of always making a great impression, get in touch.
