I am Reka, an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of German and Hungarian as foreign language. I graduated in Budapest in 2014 as a Teacher of German and Hungarian as a Foreign Language, a decision that has proven to be one of the best in my life. I am not only passionate about teaching these languages but also about the process of learning languages.
For eight years, I worked in an international summer camp in Hungary, where I had the opportunity to teach children aged 7-18. This period was fantastic, allowing me to experience the nuances of teaching a language to small children, teenagers, and young adults from diverse backgrounds. Following my university graduation, I joined a language school where I taught German to young adults and conducted online lessons in both languages.
In March 2021, I finally launched my 'passion project', Languages with Reka. Since then, I have been working as a self-employed German and Hungarian as a foreign language teacher and neurolanguage coach online. My goal extends beyond teaching the language; I am dedicated to assisting people in finding their motivation, (re)learning German or Hungarian, fostering effective, autonomous, and happy learners. I believe that learning occurs when we are happy and engaged, and I am convinced that everyone can become an independent and enthusiastic learner. Recognizing our individual differences, I aim to help people discover their unique spark in their language journey. In the end, "we all smile in the same language."
I love running on the beach, and in the mountains, I enjoy climbing rocks in the French Alps. I also find pleasure in activities like camping, hiking, and spending time in nature with my dog. I consider myself fortunate that my profession aligns with my passion: teaching languages and assisting individuals in discovering the spark and their unique path in the language journey. Additionally, I have a keen interest in learning languages, reading self-development books, and at present, I am honing my French skills since I relocated to France in 2020.
