Can I turn off the login notification emails?
The login notification email is mandatory as we have to make sure that the site remains secure. We want all members of the Network to know when your accounts have been accessed so that, in the unlikely event of a breach, you can react quickly.
Can I edit the Introduction from ELC Language Coaching Certification Section?
No, the Introduction from ELC Language Coaching Certification section that is viewed by the public on your public facing profile cannot be edited by network members. It is a section that has the primary role of speaking directly to search engines and a secondary role of introducing you to the viewer. It is fixed text, with the exception of location and the languages you coach. If you have entered a map location and the languages you coach into your profile, the introductory section will update to include wording that gives more context to where you are in the world and what languages you coach.
Why has the information I have entered into my profile disappeared?
If you have entered information into the fields in your profile and that information has not saved, it is highly likely that you did not click the Save Changes button at the bottom of each profile section. If you are sure this was clicked, please go to https://support.efficientlanguagecoaching.com/ and submit a support ticket so that we can investigate this further. It’s important that you give us as much detail as possible on the steps you took when saving profile information as it helps us trace potential faults.
I've noticed a Language or Country is missing from the profile field dropdown menus, how do I add them?
Please let us know which language and/or country is missing and we will urgently add it. Please go to https://support.efficientlanguagecoaching.com/ and submit a support ticket.
What is an ICF Credential? How do I know if I have one?
If you have been awarded an ICF Credential, you can select one of the following in your profile:
ACC -Associate Certified Coach

These credentials are awarded by the International Coaching Federation and to attain one, you will have gone through their Pathways and Application process. For more details on attaining these credentials, reach out to Rachel.
What is the Contact Me form at the bottom of my profile for?
The Contact Me form at the bottom of your profile is for language learners who want to send you a message and enquire about your services. The form, when submitted, goes directly to you using the email address you enter into the Business Email Address profile field. It does not go to us.
Forms are protected by Re-Captha to prevent spam but if you have received spam via this form, please could you let us know so that we can add the email address to the blocked list. Go to https://support.efficientlanguagecoaching.com and submit a ticket.
Why does my username look different when I hover or click my profile image?
When you hover or click over your profile image, you will see a name and number combination that begins with the @ symbol.
This is not your username.
This is called a handle or site nickname.
It is used by the system when you post activity, make connections, send messages etc. It is similar the how facebook uses handles that start with the @ symbol.
It cannot match your username as that would mean part of your security credentials are openly viewable, making the Network less secure.
Why has my email address not updated?
When updating your Password and / or Email address, you must enter your current password in the Current Password field to make any changes permanent. If your Password or Email address has sucessfully changed, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
