Coach Profile

I started my career change a few years ago to become a nomad French language coach, mainly based in Montreal with extended stays in Europe. I love traveling and meeting people from different backgrounds, my clients are actually all around the world.

The sum of my past experiences made me realize 2 things: I'm curious about everything and I want to help others grow.

*My philosophy*

In my small business owner days, I made mistakes and I learned a lot. About me and about what people need to thrive: a positive environment, encouragements and trust.

All this will foster motivation, which is key to learning. Being a pastry chef also taught me adaptability, discipline and creativity, also important factors in a successful learning journey.

Learning a language is like opening a door to another culture. In this world where English has become the dominant language, mastering French will expose you to a different perspective. If you want to live in a francophone country or even just pass a French exam, you need to be familiar with the cultural context.

*Areas of expertise*

- expats and immigrants in a French-speaking country who want to feel more comfortable in their daily life and social interactions

- professionals in international affairs (intergovernmental agencies, ONG, consultants...) who need French for work

- test preparation (DELF, DALF, TEF, TCF)

*Diverse professional background*

- 2004-2009: Worked in Events managing and Communication for a few years in France and Canada

- 2011-2017: Managed my own bakery in Vancouver

- 2017: Felt the urge to come back to my true passion: languages. Started teaching English and French. Certified TEFL teacher accredited with TESOL Canada.

- 2019: Trained as Neurolanguage Coach. Coaching for French exclusively.

*I speak* French, English, Spanish. Currently learning: Japanese. Notions of German, Arabic
